This past Friday night, I went to the opening night party for the Los Angeles Modernism Show, benefitting P.S. Arts, a local arts organization that I have been involved with for many years. Getting dressed for events quickly becomes an excuse to put together an outfit and for this latest soiree, I borrowed some insane estate jewelry from my friend, the Beverly Hills-based jeweler Claude Morady. I'm not used to wearing such show-stoppingly extravagant jewels (I borrowed a 1920s diamond ring, a 1960s diamond and amethyst bracelet with matching earrings, just to name a few) so I decided I needed to tone it down with a $40 vintage dress from deep in my closet. Finished off the look with bright pink Manolo Blahniks, a white Clare Vivier clutch, hair slicked back and Funny Face lipstick by Nars. And if you're dying to read more about my "night out look," the awesome fashion site Refinery 29 asked me for my tips on putting together my look. Click here!
