Hello! I write this from Palm Springs (again!) where I have escaped to for another 36 hours of relaxation. Basically, my pattern is this - I go, go, go, work, work, work and run myself into the ground until I finally have to stop and bust out of town for a brief but effective break. So, yes, this is why I am in the desert laying in the sun for the second time in two weeks. There is something in the air here that brings me back to life. AND my BFF is in town from New York and I love taking her on a little road trip each time she visits.
In other news, I am in love with my nails! The color is called Mint Candy Apple by Essie and not since my love affair with sparkly nails have I been this excited about a polish color. Thoughts????? Perfect for Palm Springs!

oooooh, love that as well! my work is pretty conservative so i tend to stick with red, merlots or black (somehow that feels polished to me), but i'll definitely be shopping for a summer skirt that color!

I can't think of a better place to unwind from a hectic work schedule than Palm Springs. There truly is something in the desert air that works wonders on the soul. I'm heading there in two weeks and am literally counting down the days!
