I've posted many times before about my lovely and multi-talented friend Bea, from when I first discovered her amazing line of mexican shoes to when we spent a morning making preserved lemons in Echo Park. Since we first met, we've been in a book club together, traveled to Palm Springs and every eight weeks Jeana Sohn and I head to Bea's house to get our hair cut (and do a little shoe shopping). I am so excited that today's giveaway is a pair of Bea's beautiful shoes, each pair handmade in Mexico City (her hometown). I have had my eye on these cobalt blue leather slip ons for some time...and now they can be yours!

Oh my, I LOVE those cobalt blue slippers... I just finished grad school and don't have a job yet, and my poor shoe collection is seriously ragged and pitifully small. I would definitely make use of a gorgeous shoe like that. Unfortunately I don't tweet but I befriended Beatrice on Facebook!

I love leather goods and Beatrice is an amazing craftsman! I love the nahuatl lace up sandals- they are like a traditional pair of gladiators. Simple and sexy.

I love the leather slip ons. You can immediately tell the amount of love and craftsmanship that went into it. I friended and am following BV now too!
All of the stiles are bellus, but if I had to pick it would be the botin skimal. They remind me of the mocassins I had to wear as a dancerette in high school.

I love the nahuatl style because of their resemblance to the Tamahurana runners' -- and the nearly lost nahuatl language culture and language is so gorgeous.

oh my goodness. I have been oogling BV's shoes through the blogosphere for some time now. I would LOVE to own a pair. How to choose a fave style though?
