Inspiration Peak in Silver Lake

IMG_8656

Over the past few months, the mistress of the closet herself, Miss Jeana Sohn, has introduced me to some fab LA ladies (many of whom she has featured on Closet Visit) including Silver Lake-based Joanna Williams. Joanna runs Kneeland Co., a textile and jewelery inspiration mecca for designers.  A few weeks ago, she invited us over for chai and biscotti followed by a tour of her beautiful collection. I left feeling creative and full of ideas - I guess that's the point right? Thanks for the inspiration, girl (and for the biscotti recipe ;)!

colors and scene alone are totally inspiring, but those sunny earrings and the big silver necklace are indescribable!

Joanna is a goddess and *such* a sweetheart. I'm so sad I didn't get to know her in person while I was living in Joshua Tree, but alas. What a treat you got to see her incredible archive of textiles in person (and did she make you Moroccan coffee?)!

Also, what rock have I been living under that I'm only now discovering LA in Bloom? Sigh. Clearly you've made my Sunday morning coffee-and-Sunday-Times-online-edition (last day before they charge us!) that much more interesting and delightful. xo from sweltering Jaipur.
