With our wedding less than two months away, we have most of the major things squared away and are left to figure out the details. And I've been trying just to sit back, enjoy the ride and focus on the good stuff. For example, I'm loving our Save The Dates, handcrafted by our friends Nic and Jennifer Brandt Taylor of Thunderwing Press in upstate New York. The Taylors are a true inspiration and we love that they made that H and A just for us.

Also, guess what? Are you sitting down? This might come as a shock. I lurve shopping for wedding shoes. Oh yeah. Almost as much as the dress shopping. These sapphire blue Manolos almost made me cry.

Originally I wanted to get married in Mexico. So creating these custom stamps made for our Save The Dates made me grin ear to ear. We took the image from a vintage Mexican postcard Alex and I found the weekend we were engaged in Ojai.

And finally, Garden Rose season has officially begun, which gets me pretty revved up for spring and all my favorite flowers that come with the season. Two of my BFFs are florists and I watch them create exquisite wedding flowers every week so I'm pretty excited to see what they pull out for their pal HBT.

Happy weekend to you, too :)
So excited for you! Everything is lovely, but you need those blue shoes! Please tell us you got them.
As a bride-to-be myself -- more wedding info please! The wedding blogs I have found are so-not-inspiring. So please more details! And if you have any good blogs/sites, let me know. Cheers!
If those shoes are in your gallery tonight, I may buy them!
GAH! Behold! Abraham Darby roses! AND Yves Klein cobalt Monolos. All in one post. HEAVEN.
(and psst- if you're up for a dream-waltz through revolutionary Mexico a la Frida y Diego, pick up Kingsolver's delicious newish novel "The Lacuna.")
those themed stamps are a brilliant touch! and the shoes are divine!
