Julia Child's favorite taco stand is now my favorite too. La Super-Rica in sunny Santa Barbara lived up to all the hype. Delicious tacos, tamales and the best horchata I have ever tasted. Can't wait to go back!
my bf and i took a road trip to san fran a few months ago and on the way stopped at la super rica. to die for! i had the pepper and cheese one you pictured above with loads of that amazing green tomatillo salsa. man, now i need to go back.
ooooh--i used to go there all of the time when i was pregnant with my little boy! i moved to northern california five years ago (when he was three weeks old), but still have food fantasies about la super-rica. i used to love sitting in the white plastic chairs picturing julia doing the same!
